When I first spoke to Michelle about her wedding, I was so excited. Not only is she a teacher like I was, but she was too busy to meet in person because she was having an operation so that she could donate a kidney to her father. Yes, she is that kind. I knew I had to photograph her wedding after speaking with her for a few minutes and I was equally impressed when I met Mike. These two are a perfect match.
They met me near Herrick Lake for a session at dawn on a chilly spring morning. We spent time exploring the trails, enjoying the sunrise and chatting about the summer. It was the type of morning which reminds you of spring and makes you daydream about summer. Just a hint of the warmth to come. I am beyond thrilled that they chose to me photograph their wedding.
