Every time I book a wedding or an engagement session in the city, I do a little happy dance. When we first moved to the Chicago Area from Phoenix five years ago, we thought for sure we would end up right in Chicago. I am so thankful that we landed and settled in Naperville, but I still love love love photographing in Chicago. This city had a pulse and I can feel it each time I walk through the streets. I know so many great spots and just daydream about each city session. My clients often laugh about how I know my way around so well even though I technically live in the burbs. I can’t help it, Chicago has my heart.
I was able to chat with Audrey and Solomon via video chat before our session, but we met for the first time in person for their engagement session. They booked me for their wedding this coming fall, and just like that, I showed up at their building for our planned session with my camera in hand. I talk about this so much, but I cannot tell you how thankful I am for the fun, beautiful people I meet because of my work. These two are simply wonderful and I am already looking forward to their wedding.
