I haven’t been on my blog lately. Sometimes keeping up with social media is so much, but I’m back. Photo season is here! It felt so good to pick up my camera again.
This family just added a new member to their family, a sweet baby sister. Big brother and mom and dad were just glowing during my Saturday morning visit. Lifestyle sessions are so important to me. They are not super posed, they don’t include props that will someday go out of style, they are classic. Lifestyle sessions capture a special slice of your life that cannot be replicated. Life as it was during this time in life. My mom’s Olan Mills pictures of my own childhood are not the ones that are dear to my heart. The photographers that I have framed in my own home hold memories and not poses.
I cannot be more thankful that this sweet chose me to photograph this unparalleled beautiful time of their lives.
