I can’t tell you how much joy it brings me to see my dear friends happy. I met Jen my first year teaching in Naperville. I didn’t know a soul and I was nervous to start teaching at my new school. I had taught before, but my family had just uprooted our lives in Phoenix to move back to the Midwest and I was frantic. Needless to say, Jen I became fast friends. She always listens and laughs at my dumb jokes. I am thankful for her friendship and happy that it has continued even though she now lives in New York. I recently hosted a baby shower for Jen in my home and I was able to snap a few photographs of this sweet baby before the celebration began.
