I love to travel. It is one of the great joys of my life so I was more than excited when my dear friend Tara invited me to photograph her wedding in Denver. I met Tara during my first years as a teacher in Phoenix and I am so thankful we have stayed friends despite time and distance. Last time I was in Denver for a photography job, Tara and I met for dinner and then brunch and I got to hear all about the love of her life Mark. Just a few days after my plane brought me back to Chicago, they were engaged. On the morning of Tara and Mark’s wedding day, it snowed. I was able to take a hike in these magnificent mountains and reflect before photographing this beautiful event. This wedding was a beautiful gathering of friends, family and of course a celebration of a great love.
