The first thing you should know about this couple’s photography session is that it was so much fun! Liz and Vincent are hilarious and we all ended up laughing hysterically. As with almost all my sessions these are real smiles filled with pure laughter. I even invited them to come hang out with me at my house with my husband and I soon. It was that fun. Our topics of conservation ranged from Netflix to college days and it was a blast.
Liz is a photographer who owns Elizabeth Nord Photography. Along with being a super talented photographer, she is also a good friend. She hosts photographer meet ups at her home in the city and she always cracks me up. Facebook is such an awesome networking tool. I may have never met Liz if we hadn’t struck up a conversation online.
I photographed this sweet married couple at the Morton Aboretum near sunset. Nothing compares with the golden light of an end of summer sunset. Romantic, perfect and real. This session was beyond perfect and I was so happy to photograph Vincent and Liz on this beautiful summer evening. The trees, prairie, the winding road, it was all perfect.
Couples photographs do not need to be reserved for your engagement or wedding day. These are so important to document your journey as a married pair. Like my husband and I, Liz and Vincent have been married for six years. A night of laughter and photographs was the perfect way to spend this summer night.
I have said it before and I’ll say it again, I am beyond thankful for this little business of mine. A night laughing with my camera in hand is time well spent and I wouldn’t want it any other way.
While writing this post, I was listening to Ryan Adams 1989.
