I love that photography has given me the opportunity to travel. Traveling back to my hometown, Grand Rapids is so rewarding. I get to watch my town evolve into a mecca for art and tourism, and come back to meet truly awesome people. This lovely couple found my work on Instagram and signed up for a session when I announced I was coming back to Grand Rapids for a weekend. The best part of my job is meeting wonderful people and this family is no exception.
Eastown is the perfect location for family photograph. The quaint town on Reed’s Lake makes the perfect backdrop, even on a rainy morning. I loved photographing this family and I hope to see them when I am in Grand Rapids again soon……….
