Though I am a Chicago photographer, one of my favorite places to visit and photograph beautiful people is my hometown of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Photography allows me to meet new people and connect with old friends. I have know Christopher many years, but it had been a long time since we were able to catch up. It was a privilege to meet his husband, Johnny and photograph them around my favorite town.
When I lived in Grand Rapids, I felt like a was trapped in a small town. This small town is special. Grand Rapids is beautiful and progressive, a place unlike any other. Chicago is great, but Grand Rapids sticks to your heart.
