Though I haven’t lived in my hometown in quite awhile, I still consider myself a Grand Rapids photographer. I live in the Chicago area now, but Grand Rapids is where much of my life was spent. Born and raised, an alumni of both West Catholic and Grand Valley State University, I called Michigan home for 26 years. While there, I crossed paths and became friends with many great people. Many are still my close friends and when we catch up, it feels like I never moved away. Some of these friends I have lost track of over the years and some I have truthfully just watched their lives unfold on Facebook, with no official words exchanged.
I was thrilled beyond belief when I heard from these old friends to photograph their sweet family. Their new baby has brought more joy than she may ever really know, and I am so pleased that I was able to photograph this sweet family of three. So glad I got to reconnect with this couple and meet their sweet daughter.
