Because of such a busy photo season lately, I have been way behind on my book club posts. Luckily, this is a good one. I read the Giver a few months ago and then I picked up Son the continued story at a book fair. Apparently, there are two other books though I was able to read Son without feeling like I was missing a piece of the story.
Anyone who is a parent should read this book. It is the story of a mother a child separated and driven by all costs to reunited. The mother makes an ultimate sacrifice forgoing all other aspects of her life to reunite with her child. This book has a mystic aspect and unforgettable ending. This is the tale of a mother’s love and I could not put it down.
