Little did I know I would be photographing Alex and Liz’s wedding at The Bob in Grand Rapids. Years ago when I lived in Grand Rapids I danced many nights away at The Bob. So, as you might imagine, photographing this wedding at The Bob brought back so many fun memories while also creating new ones with Liz and Alex on their special day. Alex and Liz met in Chicago at a Grand Valley State alumni event. Together they shared so many special moments and memories from their time on campus. When it came time to plan their wedding they really wanted to incorporate pieces that tied them together as a couple. So it was only fitting that they were married at the Grand Valley State Alumni House. The day was perfect filled with love, family and friends. After their ceremony at the Grand Valley State Alumni House we headed over to downtown Grand Rapids to kick off their reception at The Bob. It was such a fun day filled with lots of amazing moments and variety throughout. Enjoy.
