A few weeks ago, I flew out to Phoenix to photograph a wedding. It was such a great trip because I got to spend some time in the city where I used to live. Like me, many of my friends in the desert migrated back to the Midwest where we are originally from, but one of my very best friends still lives in Phoenix and I was able to stay with her and her family.
Courtney has been a rock to me since we first met. She has been a role model for marriage and parenting and I can always confide in her. She was one of the first friends who let me photograph her family when I was just starting my photography business and has always cheered for me along the way. Even though I don’t get to see and chat with her as much as I would like, I still considered her one of my closest friends.
