There is about a month left until the end of my maternity leave. I have learned many things while home. One being that hiring a maid would be pointless. They would literally have to live at my house and do a deep clean of my living room and dinning area after each meal. This person would have to be a master of reaching things from under the couch and removing fingerprints off various surfaces. How do Cheerios even get between the couch cushions everyday when I don’t even let my three year old eat on the couch? I clean several times a day and still it feels as though I can’t keep up with my little tornado. Even though I sometimes feel like I’m in training to become a master at the vacuum, I still wouldn’t change one minute of my time home.
