I grew up in Grand Rapids, and I must say, the summers are absolutely amazing in Michigan. Throughout my childhood, my friend Katie and I would build forts, go swimming and ride our bikes much too far away from home. It was a joy to photograph her three beautiful children and I hope that they enjoy the Michigan summers as much as we did.
