Many times when I photograph a wedding, I feel like a guest. I had just met both Alexa and Jordan on the morning of their wedding day, though it felt like we had been friends for years. Both Alexa and Jordan and kind and caring souls and I immediately shared in the joy of their day. Though we had spoken on the phone and through email, I learned their whole love story on the day of their wedding.
Alexa took a visit back to New Jersey to take care of her mom who had an injury and by chance, she met Jordan. Before this fateful meeting, they shared some friend circles but never connected. Soon, Jordan moved to Chicago to be with Alexa and the rest is history. They were married on a beautiful Sunday afternoon at the Promontory in Hyde Park surrounded by their friends and family.
I librarian and a chemist. Good things happen when literature and science combine.
While working on this post I was listening to Band of Horses.
