It’s great when a family you have photographed invites you to photograph them again, and again. I met the Leaf family through Facebook and they are now my regular clients. . It’s great to establish connections with families and watch them grow. Meeting new families is always special, but even more special when it evolves into a friendship.
Backyards, swing sets, family and summer evenings. This time of night is the golden hour. There is never a time of day to me that is more perfect. Even better is the combination of a backyard, family and spectacular light. This is the perfect recipe for family photographs.
The children in this family are at the perfect age where summer feels even more magical and perhaps even never ending. Their biggest worries are whether it will rain and bedtime. I’m a bit jealous of their swing set, so many adventures to be had, right in their own backyard.
This summer family photography session was, as always, a pleasure with this Naperville family. This time they even had special guests; both sets of grandparents! It was a pleasure to be able to photograph these children with not only their parents but all their grandparents.
