Grand Rapids, Michigan might be one of my favorite spot for engagement photographs. Its quaint neighborhoods and thriving art scene provide the perfect backdrop for photographing creative and charming couples. My connection to Michigan is strong and I look forward to each time I visit. It has been a joy to watch my hometown of Grand Rapids grown into the beautiful and progressive city that it now is.
This couple has both charm and style and I was so pleased to be invited into their beautiful home to take these photographs. We chatted while I snapped their photographs. Heather’s Southern charm and Matt’s smile made this rainy afternoon a joy. It was a pleasure to meet them and I wish them all the best as they set their wedding plans. Matt and Heather were engaged in the snowy woods on an overlook of Lake Michigan. Their engagement photographs took place in their home on a rainy Sunday afternoon.
