Moving across the country is hard, but I must say, for my family and I the transition is going fantastic. In June, we sold our house near sunny Phoenix, Arizona, packed our bags and moved to Naperville, Illinois. We landed here and thankfully my husband and I were both able to get jobs in the area.
Though we miss our friends and family in Phoenix, we are loving Naperville and taking walks in the city. Baby Riddle even started a music class in town that she loves! It is also so great to be closer to my hometown of Grand Rapids, Michigan. The past five years in Arizona were wonderful; I had my first teaching job, met my husband, had our daughter and made some friends that I know I will have for a lifetime. Through my time in Phoenix, the Midwest and Lake Michigan still tugged at my heart and I and so thankful that through this journey we landed in Naperville.
As celebration of being the new kid in town and as a way to meet more families,
