For a few years, I have been going to The Bar Method in Downtown Naperville and Kelly has been one of my teachers. She has been patient while teaching me the correct formation even after all this time, while I still have the grace of Chris Farley at the bar. As you can imagine, I was delighted when she asked me to photograph her growing family.
Some photographer may dread sessions with toddlers. I embrace them. No one is more true to self than a little person on the move. This is the age before posing and people begin worrying about posing or what others think. I love it. I wish we could all feel this free all the time.
